Mihail Roginsky (1931-2004) is one of the most interesting artist of present time. Though the artist lived in Paris since 1978, his exhibition held during 14th Architecture Biennale was the largest one ever outside Russia. On show there were his works of Parisian period which have become a discovery not only for the international audience but for the most of Russian audience as well. His only work created before his immigration that was on display is a famous Red Door (1965) that may represent a portal to another world that the artist had to experience during immigration.

The exhibition was held with the support of In artibus Foundation in collaboration with CSAR Centre for Studying Russian Art of Ca’ Foscari University and Mikhail Roginsky foundation.

Catalogue is published in four languages and includes articles by art historians Evegeny Barabanov, Silvia Burini, and curator of the exhibition Elena Rudenko.
