Vladimir Weisberg in the “New Jerusalem”. Lecture by Lyudmila Denisova

The Historical and Architectural Art Museum “New Jerusalem” began to form The collection of art of the XX century in 1977, a year later the works of Vladimir Weisberg appeared in it.

The “New Jerusalem” in Istria became the first museum to acquire Weisberg’s works in the state collection.

The museum keeps eight picturesque “white” works of the 1960s-1970s and 8 watercolors from the “Nude” series.

Lyudmila Denisova, the head of the art department of the New Jerusalem Museum, shared her memories of communication and meetings with the artist.
