Sergey Zhavoronkov. Landscape. Interior. Still life

The artist has an exceptionally high reputation among the Moscow art community, committed to traditional figurative values: color, rhythm, composition, the relation of form and space. Once seen, Zhavoronkov’s works are remembered forever: casual Moscow landscapes, minimalistic still lifes, modest interiors, decorated only with a stream of light – both real and surreal. In these small, devoid of any pathos, meditative works, there is a high cultural value in all its diversity of international mutual influences, which opens only to an attentive and educated eye.
