Exhibition Sweet life – a collaborative project of Kovcheg gallery and Tver Regional Picture Gallery

In Tver Regional Picture Gallery a large exhibition entitled ‘Sweet life’, organized by ‘Kovcheg’ gallery and its curators Sergey Safonov and Igor Chuvilin, has taken place.

The exhibition comprised showpieces from collections of Vologda Regional Art Gallery, Tver Regional Art Gallery, State Museum of Mayakovsky, Museum “Memorial” as well as private collections. Classic works neighbored with those of forgotten artists, paintings – with old cigarette packs, advertisements and tea chests.

“Deep in the Siberian mine…” The Decembrists. 200 Years of History

The exhibition at the In artibus Foundation explores an extraordinarily important theme within this tragic history: the lives of the Decembrists in Siberia. The display is built around unique visual materials created during penal servitude and exile by the participants in the uprising and those close to them.

From 20 December 2024 to 30 March 2025 In artibus Foundation will show the exhibition A Hymn to Jan Chrucki’s ‘Quiet Life’. It will be the first retrospective of this scale by the artist and includes works from more than fifteen Russian museum and the collection of the National Museum of the Republic of Belarus in Minsk.
