Russian State Archive of Literature and Arts to host an international conference in memory of Nikolay Khardzhiev

Russian Avant Garde from Transnational Perspective conference in memory of Nikolay Khardzhiev (1903-1996) will be held at the Russian State Archive of Literature and Arts (RGALI) exhibition hall on 21-22 June 2019. The conference is supported by the Khardzhiev Foundation (the Netherlands), Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the IN ARTIBUS foundation, and the State Russian Museum. Prominent Russian and foreign researchers specializing in the field of Russian avant-garde are going to be the main speakers at the conference.

One of the main event of the conference is going to be the presentation of the third volume of the “Khardzhiev’s Archive. Russian avant-garde: materials and documents from the RGALI collection”, a large publishing project by the IN ARTIBUS foundation. The book goes on sale starting June 22.
